Also I would take Belmont, Murray State, or ORU over a Dakota school.

Come to think of it I would also take high school gym fantastic Valpo or Layola or UIC or UWM heck I would take UNO, UMKC, or UALR over a Dakota school.

Unfortunately I have no clue what the presidents would do.

Yeah, I think if I had my pick......I'd take Belmont or Murray, just for purely selfish reasons (close to UE). However, in reality, I think if possible if should be a more western school just out of fairness to the western schools in the valley. Having said that, if the western schools are that opposed to the Dakotas, then I think it's fairly obvious where the UE fans would fall on that one. As far as replacing Creighton, outside of fantasy world, I think any move we make is going be a downgrade.

Look, it isn't happening. If Creighton were to replaced by a public, football playing school, Bradley enters into serious talks with the A10 and/or other conferences. If Creighton were to leave, Bradley would have the second highest attendance behind only WSU and becomes a very, very important piece of the conference.

Taking it one step further, if Bradley enters negotiations with the A10, WSU does likewise, with Drake and Evansville seriously looking around as well.

I don't think the football schools have any idea how concerned the non-football scholarship schools are about the football situation. I know for a fact that Creighton has been concerned in the past with the possibility of the football schools leaving to go up a level. The reason the mix has worked so far is that although the public-private split has been 6-4, the football-nonfootball split has been 5/5 (Drake has non-scholarship football). It wouldn't be Creighton leaving that blows-up the MVC, it would be adding a Dakota school that blows up the MVC.
