I do think Domask will be good for SIU though.

I know Sackey played well in Canada but I need to see it from him for a longer period before I consider him an above average starting MVC point guard. He’s quick as hell and scrappy, but otherwise there is a lot of room for growth in his game.

Javon Freeman and the retirement of Bakari Evelyn ISO plays should be enough to catapult Valpo out of 10th.

That would be my concern about Indiana State as well. Good starting guards, but can they stop anyone inside?

That's fair, but some Juco's work out and some don't. I hope he is good.

I don't think VU has much chance of landing that low but I voted them 10'th just to make it near unanimous! After last February and the offseason defections there is literally no direction but up! They seem to have sufficient talent to shock everybody --including myself.

Surprised to see Valpo pulling away here. Freeman with a year under his belt and a healthy Fazekas make Valpo a pretty solid team, imo. I peg Valpo as a team that will be on the PIG borderline.

While not surprised , I find it interesting how so many are looking to assign Illinois State a PIG place this year. Muller has a +.600 winning % in the Valley, and when I look at their roster, I only see maybe 2-3 teams with more talent. They continue to have athletic length and depth, and people forget that 3 of their transfers were double digit scorers in D-1 and have had a year to practice within Muller's system. Now Muller has to prove he has regained control of his program and can get kids to play every night, but if so, they have the talent to be top 5 easier than a few others people are touting imho.

I get where you’re coming from, but ISU has run some really ugly offense under Muller virtually the entire time he’s been there, and the league appears to be trending up. Maybe the new assistant coach will be helpful in that regard. For now, I see them in the 6-8 range.
