Replace “Twitter/X” with “social media” and you got it.

Would you care to enlighten the common rabble?

There's an advantage to having your three best long term successful programs in Des Moines, Peoria and Cedar Falls...

There's a Belmont caveat there but they'd have to go on a run of sustained success in this league.

I think Drake & Belmont are candidates to move up if they keep winning in the near future. Illinois State is a candidate too if they think FBS football is more valuable to them.

Where is Drake going to go? The Big East stuff is absolute Fantasy Land and the A10 isn't splitting the pie another way and adding big time travel cost to add Des Moines plus Drake doesn't really recruit regular students from the East Coast, their base is Chicago, Minneapolis and KC. The move doesn't make sense for either side.

So, just because they don't, that means they shouldn't consider growth into a national profile? Bradley has always recruited from the east coast and randomly Colorado. No reason Drake can't set their sights more broadly. That's how institutions grow.
