Based on recent success what current MVC teams would we take anyway? Certainly not Evansville, Valpo, Illinois State, SIU, and Murray State.
UIC only for the same reasons we took them in the first place.
UNI and Indiana State maybe.
Belmont, Bradley, and Drake yes.

There is only one championship to go around per year and 12 schools to compete for it. I’m curious how you would include Belmont above the others schools, aside from the market. Only 1 team can win, but other schools can be good enough to help support at large chances while some hurt it. That would be more relevant when looking at in conference teams.

It's not about recent success. It's about capacity.
There are only two schools in this league that don't have the capacity.

Evansville’s fan base is in the upper half of the conference. Those two things (facilities, fan/community support) make Evansville’s capacity not comparable to Valpo’s.
Capacity /=/ Results
People are retconning results into capacity. Evansville’s capacity is there. The results haven’t.
