summer workout buzz

Slow time of the calendar, so figured I’d start a thread for posters to share any notable tidbits coming out of their teams’ summer workouts. (Yes, I realize most summer info is to be taken with a large grain of salt and may mean little or nothing in the long run).

That said, through two weeks in Carbondale:

- Isaiah Stafford, coming off his summer 2024 ACL tear, is participating in team workouts, so so far, so good.
- Jacksonville State transfer Quel’Ron House, expected to be the starting point guard, has made a strong early impression, per various interviews PBP guy Luke Martin has posted.
- Nagy usually plays a fairly tight rotation but said the quality depth on this roster likely will mean he’ll play more guys than usual.

I would also add that Max Pikaar has incredible athleticism for a 7 footer. I expect a lot of blocked shots from him.
